All are welcome to attend today’s opening reception for the exhibiton of Sculptures & Drawings by Chris Duncan that remains on view in the Teaching Gallery through Oct. 23.
A talk by the artist at 3 p.m. precedes the opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Both events will be held in the Teaching Gallery.
Chris Duncan-s sculpture and drawings investigate the human body through gesture, scale and process. Working in slate, bronze and plaster, gouache and acrylic, Duncan finds expressive qualities of surface in both art forms.
